The Lost Watch 3D App Reviews

I really like this active wallpaper however there is a major downside! When running as active background it will increase your CPU load and temp considerably, which means when you are on battery power on your MacBook Pro (as I am), it will reduce your battery life and increase CPU and memory load. Unfortunately the developers did not include the option to turn off the water animation! That water animation is respondsible for the dramatic CPU temp increase. Example: Running on idle with normal background picture my CPU temp is around 45-48c. Running the Lost 3D watch background will increase the average CPU temp to 58-65c. So you are looking at an add. 15-20c increase! So please, can you guys at 3planesoft PLEASE include an option where you can turn the water animation off!? That would be really great and then i would give this app a 5 star rating!!!

This is one of the best wallpaper apps. Buy it. I love the graphics and sound.

The detail is amazing in this app; I love it. Needs only one bit of realism: the pucker you see around the edges of leaves as they touch water.

In my home office workspace, I often had a clock on the wall (also my desk, my phone, etc) to keep track of time. All of these other clocks are gone now, in favor of this one, and I am more productive for the change. Lost Watch is perfect for putting time, and life, in proper perspective. The ability to turn features on and off will provide variety and control…the random patterns of the leaves floating by, and the hypnotizing water ripples, will comfort a crowded mind. I put a picture of my wife, in the optional picture frame, for additional perspective. I look forward to additional features and updates from 3Planesoft.

Great graphics. You need more selections for Mac. Sound effects need some tweaking for the birds and water background. Also, the ticking sound is not working.

LOVE this app its so real

I get so many people stopping at saying, WOW WHATS THAT ON YOUR DESKTOP! Ive shared the app link, heck, I should be getting paid for the people Ive turned on to it. I keep a picture of the T.A.R.D.I.S. as a keepsake… keeps real date, time, seconds.. and frankly, is a far better active desktop then just a cheap boring slideshow… Stop being cheap! Buy this already, youll be glad you did!

Though it doesnt have that many options for you if you pay for it, I still love it. The sound is calming and soothing, and its just beautiful. No more words needed.

Nice, but I cant figure out how to turn off the water (not the sound, the motion). Its annoying to see that on the edges of a window if youre not in full screen.

If you have ever sat in front of a big fish tank - fascinated to just look at the layout and watch the fish swim around - then this app is for you. The rippling water, the leaf floating by and the watch tick-tick-ticking away are spell-binding. The effects and the graphics are especially well done - feels like you could just reach out and retrieve that great-looking timepiece. Being able to display your favorite photo and knowing that the watch is keeping current time are excellent features for those who want some personalization. All-in-all, a first-rate app - and well worth the money!

Great Mac App no doubt. Well built, simply designed, and STABLE. Awesome feature to allow your own picture to be inserted in the pendant. The options that work best for me are the leaves, sprid, pendant with droplet sounds at a low volume. Cant wait for any additional features that may come in the future! More themes maybe?

I really like this application, but I wish there was a way to change the scenery to align with seasonal changes.

An excellent purchase… Distinctive… I particularly like the feature which allows one to change photos & display them in such a unique way; a very pleasurable method to bring back fond memories! Recommended without hesitation!

Except for the heavy CPU usage, this is quite a beautiful app. Be neat to have additional timepieces to choose from but this one is stunning. I get comments from family and peers all the time when they walk by or see the background. Have to agree with some other comments, of being on battery. This Air tends to get warm and the battery time is cut. You’ll find it mesmerizing, and not dissatisfied at all. The developers did an awesome job. Great Mac App!!

People that see the Gold Watch screen saver are amazed. I put my wife’s picture in the locket and it looks so real. I never tire of the movement of the water. It’s the greatest.
