The Lost Watch 3D App Reviews

It is a wonderful tool but it needs a minor update; it lacks the feature of "chiming every half an hour and every hour like that of the mechanichal clock. If you add this feature it will be very excellent wallpaper for the Mac. Thanks a lot for this beatiful invention.

Simpledment beau!

I already downloaded and have been using the Mechanical Clock desktop and have now been using the Lost Watch desktop for a short while. This one is decadently stunning and I could watch it for hours if I had very little work to do. But while it is a more hedonistically appealing desktop, the Mechanical Clock is far more informative in that you can watch the clockworks in action. So for me I will change from one to the other as the mood hits - they both have their pluses. The one minus with this one is that with the water movement and background sounds, Lost Watch has a very soporific effect and can draw you away from a busy work schedule if you let it. Or is this a plus...?

The Graphics are beautiful and truelly come to life on the screen. This app lets you personalize without compromizing the integrity of that app itself. This is app is simple and beatiful, glad I bought it...

This is a wandeful theme of nature, time and memory. It also a great escape of stressfull computer work.

Gang… you have outdone yourselves. Its rich, stunning (on my iMac 20). Simple, and a great Preferences page too!. I immediately pulled a picture from my iPhoto holder of my girl & dogs and slugged it into the PENDANT feature {glad you didnt just have 5 default images!}. What a serene backdrop. Although, I did turn down the droplets to low volume to do more serious work. The screenshot is identical to the actual program.. AND youve included a ScreenSaver Mode to go to… with an outdoors sound. This is a piece of genius, a piece of nature, and a stream of water that is very, very lifelike. You can almost grab a stone! Its just hard to believe what I am seeing on my new 27 inch iMac. I would give it 10 stars. AWESOME !!! Worth every single penny…….

I love this! I have apps that I like for screensavers, but Ive never found an animated background that I liked. This is it! The animation is smooth, the option to put in a photo to replace the default one is perfect. One small quibble. Id love to have the option to minimize the number of drops that cause the surface waves. Not make them slower, just reduce the number. Sometimes it gets almost bothersome in a distracting way when Im trying to work and I have to shut it off. If I could reduce the waves it would be perfect! Thanks for a great app.

Love this background! Could stare at it for hours. Its as soothing as watching a fish tank or the ocean and I love that its a working time piece and I can add my own photo. Keep up the good work. Love Dolphins 3D too.

Look so real, impossible not to love this. 5 star

Its an amazing app but it seems like it havent been update for a long time. Now the macbook pro has the one with retina screen, and this app still doesnt support retina screen. I will rate 5 stars if there is a new update coming up and fix the retina support.

Upgrade of The Lost Watch for Yosomite : no colors anymore in the photo that we choose to insert in the medallion. The overall colors are not as beautiful as before. Disappointing. Before it was a 5 stars app now it is 3.

I love it! But I think it’s time for a couple of added features.

Jest to dla mnie jedna z najlepszych aplikacji tego typu. Można tu znaleźć bardzo realistyczne kamienie, wodę i starego typu zegarek, zegarek który „tyka” i wszystko się rusza. Również możemy dodać zdjęcie ukochanej osoby (bardzo dobra kombinacja: miłość i czas). Polecam. / It’s for me one from the best applications of this type. You can find here very realistic stones, water and old type of watch, watch that is ticking and everything that moves. Also we can add the picture of a loved one (very good combination: love and time). I recommend.

Cool animated wallpaper! But Id like to ask developers about more realistic sounds with better quality. Also leaves are moving independedly from waves that are made by drops. Looks strangely... And it also eats too much resources...

I have had this one for a while now and it’s been great. I haven’t had any problems with it what so ever, and I have a 2008 iMac with Yosemite and only 4GB of RAM. I have not had any crashing or anything. I uploaded an old photo of my great grandmother for the locket photo which is really cool. I love the ticking sound and water drops. It’s very soothing. And I love that the watch actually tells the time and date.

It’s tough to get excited over computer a wallpaper/ screensaver, but this one’s pretty cool. Love the ability to put your own pic in the locket. I keep the sound of the dripping water droplets on all the time… I find it relaxing.

This is the first 3D Wallpaper I have purchased and wow! The water ripples look so realistic you just want to reach into your screen (I work from an iMac.) and touch it. The sounds of the clock and water ripples are subtle, but also it depends on your volume. Kinda cool when you’re not working on your computer and see the whole thing in action. I have people intrigued by it when they come over and see my computer on with this amazing live art piece in action. The photo optiuon is great fun too. Think it would be cool if the designers made it so you can change the seasons just like you can change the photo in the watch. Sprng flowers floating across during the Spring months for example. Love the leaves! Just think they could take a wee bit further. Very cool though for a wallpaper! Love it!
